The A-Team Remake in the works!
|

A silver-haired Liam Neeson was seen on the set with his co-stars for the first time as filming of the remake of the iconic television series The A-Team got underway.
Neeson joined the four male leads to film scenes in Vancouver, Canada on the highly anticipated remake of the hit Eighties show.
As Col John 'Hannibal' Smith he leads a group of Iraq War veterans seeking to clear their name with the U.S. military, who suspect the four men of committing a crime for which they were framed.

First look: The cast of the remake of the big screen version of The A-Team were seen together filming for the first time in Vancouver. From left, Quinton Jackson (B.A Baracus) Liam Neeson (Hannibal), Sharlto Copley (Murdock) and Bradley Cooper (Faceman)

Down to business: The group are filming in Vancouver and will soon be joined by actress Jessica Biel

In charge: Neeson is working hard on films back to back, since the untimely death of wife Natasha. He is also starring in Clash Of The Titans
Filming recently begun after final cast members including Justin Timberlake's actress girlfriend Jessica Biel, 27, were added last month.
Neeson's hair looked a shocking shade of white as he got into character to play Col John 'Hannibal' Smith, the role played by American actor George Peppard.
Hangover star Bradley Cooper, 34, was seen in a white vest getting a lesson on how to shoot a machine gun, in preparation for his role as Lt. Templeton 'Faceman' Peck, which was played by Dirk Benedict.
THE NEW LOOK A-TEAM

No planes fool: UFC fighter Quinton Jackson takes on the iconic BA Baracus role

Looking good: Hangover star Bradley Cooper is Faceman, popularised by actor Dirk Benedict

Leader of the pack: Liam Neeson takes over from George Peppard as Hannibal

Mad as hell: South African actor Sharlto Copley plays mad dog soldier Murdock

Token female: Jessica Biel will star as an Army general pursuing the team, an update of the reporter role played by Amy Amanda Allen
Biel, 27, is to be the leading lady in the feature, which has been adapted from the hit 80s TV series.
Her role is the only female lead in the boy's own action adventure series and in an update to the role she'll play an Army general pursuing the team and Patrick Wilson as a CIA operative.
In the television show the team were assisted by reporter Amy Amanda Allen (Melinda Culea).

Quinton Jackson strides across the set looking suitably tough as the new B.A Baracus
South African actor and District 9 star Sharlto Copley, 35, is Capt. Murdock, taking the role from Dwight Schultz. And UFC fighter Quinton Jackson plays kid's favourite B.A. Baracus, taking on Mr T's role.
Quinton Jackson in particular has been scrutinised, primarily by his UFC fans for retiring from the sport to pursue his acting career.
But he has also faced criticism from fans of the TV show, because of his lack of acting experience and the irreplaceable quality of the original B.A. Baracus, Mr.T.

This is how you do it: Hangover star Bradley Cooper gets an action man makeover for the blockbuster
And in another shot Quinton Jackson can be seen inside a helicopter, debunking one of the show's running jokes that the tough guy had a fear of flying.
Other members of the team would come up with inventive ways to knock him out (such as a carton of milk laced with drugs), in order to get him onto a plane, usually preceeded by his catchphrase 'I ain't gettin' on no plane, fool'.
In fact, the choice of actor and the conception of the film itself has been the subject of much contention since the project was announced.

Load and cock: The actor was taking the lesson in a Vancouver car park

The A -Teams iconic van, two of them were seen on set earlier last month
Fans have debated the line-up for the film, and argued over whether the series should been remade in the first place, over the past year.
Early pictures from the film's Canadian set, showed the classic GMC van which was used in the 1980s programme.
The film is directed by Joe Carnahan and produced by the Scott brothers, Ridley and Tony. It is set for release in the UK in late 2010.

The original had its moments, but didnt do much for me.
This new one is clearly taking it in a new direction. If it doesnt get carried away, it looks to me like itll be a significant improvement over the original.

Mr Billy pushed the tree off of himself and dusted himself off, as for his exaggeration of the Christmas tree being a huge oak tree, his wife was more than happy in embarrassing in the car park by shouting abuse at him for chasing after “a women that walks by”

During another press conference later on during the day, Tetsuya Nomura will withdraw his earlier statement about being gay in an attempt to repel the oncoming shitstorm of squeeing fangirls and fanboys. The attempt will fail.

The A Team Remake in the works
I just got done using paypal on an off Ebay transaction and learned some interesting info that I am passing on. I bought a DeepSea from a guy on another forum and it turned out not to be as described condition wise. He described it as like new in box, and it wasnt. He agreed to refund 300 if I kept the watch. I agreed and the money never showed up. He insisted on payment by paypal, saying we would both be safe. I filed a dispute with Paypal and they have now closed the dispute without resolution and have told me I have to pursue it through my credit card since it was an off Ebay transaction. So much for the paypal promise or guarantee of protecting the buyer.
This experience has taught me a lesson. From now on, anyone that uses paypal for an item off Ebay, you will not get help from paypal.
It seems that there is a little known option on paypal that lets the seller avoid the 3 paypal fees. I have heard if you click the personal folder and put that the item is for payment owed, services or other, and fund it with your credit card. That lets the seller avoid the 3 fee. Use that to negotiate a discount on the item or to avoid paying the 3 fees from paypal when the seller wants you to pay that. As long as you are still using your credit card to fund the purchase you have that protection and you might as well as the 3 fee you thought was protecting you is worthless for any item off ebay. I know for a fact it works when the buyer selects gift. I had a guy send me 1000 an item using the gift item and there were no fees. I would be interested to know if others have used these other options and if they got through with no fees.
Please pass this on to as many people as you know, so we can put a dent in paypals fees and maybe they will wake up and offer the protection they claim they do.

That is how it is able to get so far out of hand, nobody expects it here. When I was in Vietnam some guy freaked out and had a loaded M14 and put everybody against the wall. Luckily a tough guy walked into the beer tent and knocked him cold or it would have been messy. But in Texas? The religion of peace? We will ultimately have to kill those fuckheads over religion.

The A Team Remake in the works
Got delayed 30 plus minutes delay on my work run. House fire with injury had the highway blocked.
Was near the front of the line, spoke to and observed the firemen and EMTs when lulls occurred.
Summary, quickly. Not one single analog watch was to be seen. All the timepieces I could identify were either G-shocks or Timex Ironmen. None had funky straps or bracelets, all were on the bands they left K-Mart with.
Is it a cliche if its true?

... This is getting out of hand. Hope that base we have there is being re-inforced or un-assed. The locals have everything from sniper rifles to rocket launchers. And i just saw a news report where they were tooling down the street in an APC. WTF Over? -Ronbo
